Delete your account
You only have a YAFG account if you signed in with Google in the game, for cloud saves and purchases. If you never signed in, there is no account: everything is on your phone, and uninstalling the app deletes it.
Delete it in the app
Open Settings → Account. You need to be signed in.
- Delete cloud account deletes your account and everything stored with it in the cloud. Your games on this phone stay.
- Delete all my data does the same, and also deletes your three save slots, their transaction history, your achievements and your player profile on this phone.
If the app says you need to sign in again first, sign out, sign back in with Google, and try again. Google asks for a recent sign-in before an account can be deleted.
Ask us to delete it, without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject Delete my YAFG account, from the Google account you signed in with (or tell us that address). We delete the account and its cloud data within 30 days and reply when it's done. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address first, so nobody can delete someone else's games.
We can't reach the data on your phone. To remove it, uninstall the app, or use Delete all my data in Settings.
What is deleted
- Your account: your Google email address, name and Google account ID as YAFG holds them.
- Your cloud saves and everything stored beside them: the save slots, their names and in-game weeks, your achievements, and the app version they were saved with.
- Your purchase records in our cloud (what you bought, its price and the store's receipt).
Cloud data is deleted straight away when you delete in the app.
What is kept, and for how long
- Week-pack receipts, without your account. For each week pack bought, we keep a record that its store receipt has been used, so the same purchase can't be claimed twice. When you delete your account, the record no longer says whose it was: it holds only the product, the time and a scrambled fingerprint of the receipt. It is kept for as long as the game runs.
- Your purchases on Google Play. Google keeps your order history under its own terms; deleting your YAFG account doesn't change it.
- Crash reports (90 days) and anonymous usage data (14 months). They are never linked to your account, so we can't find yours to delete it; they expire on their own.
- Bug reports you sent, until the bug is fixed and at most 12 months. They aren't linked to your account either; send us the report's code (it looks like FG-XXXXXX) and we'll delete it sooner.
